ARTISTS: SITES, LINKS, AND CONTACT INFORMATION
The following section exists to provide information which will enable you to get into contact with artists of various kinds, for your mutual benefit. As you can see, artists, here, are grouped by category. Beyond that, there is no further semblance of order! I hope some valuable connections may be developed here, between artist and artist, artist and audience, and artist and patron. Best of luck to all! (Please let me know if any links are not responding, or if any contact information proves to be incorrect or obsolete.) You may also find some contact information accompanying the material of some contributors, where it appears in our creative space.
Novelists & Short Fiction Writers
Stephan Karl Waller. Stephan Karl Waller is a serious composer with many works to his credit. (He is also an author.) Although he has a strong affinity for Mozart, he is open to many different forms of musical expression. It should be noted that he frequently writes lyrics and text for his compositions which utilize voice. Stephan has a personal web site, which includes a bio, and more information about his studies and work. http://www.allabreve.org/skw.html
Novelists & Short Fiction Writers
Nancy Harding. Nancy is an accomplished writer, whose credits include two published works of historical fiction, The Silver Land (set in Celtic days), and Wind Child (laid among the ancient Scythians). DEBORAH Dague-BARR: Deborah is a talented artist and art teacher who writes: "To bestow beauty with social relevance has been my challenge." One of her main artistic impulses is to create art which elicits compassion for the "child within us", and, by extension, for children everywhere, whose fragile condition in today’s world beckons us to heal and transform the earth. Deborah’s home page contains links to a colorful portfolio of paintings (oil on wood); a list of her upcoming and current exhibits; a history of her major projects and international exhibitions (including work in Russia, Kenya, Colombia, and California); an article published in Fine Arts Magazine ("The Power of Art in Society"); a resume; and an e-mail address, for those who wish to contact her. Her vision combines the social and the aesthetic, and is well worth exploring. http://www.lafterhall.com/ddague.html
Visual Realisation Art. A site featuring artistic impressions of esoteric states and insights. The art, which could be considered "abstract", is better understood as moments of deep personal discovery and spiritual connection expressed in a language of color and subtle form. For some, the language may be difficult, at first, to comprehend; but little by little, meaning begins to emerge, revealing glimpses of the mysteries and powers we live amidst. Views of several prints are available for perusal, and purchase is also possible. http://www.visualrealisationart.com
Reenash: Not, strictly speaking, a site of visual arts; in fact, it is very much involved with, and driven by, the written word. However, it also features photography, as well as some sketches and paintings, and rather than list it under every category, I have chosen to enter it under this one. Following is the write-up which appears for it in "Sites of Interest."
A creative site maintained by a group of energetic, engaged youths based in London. The site name comes from the Italian word for "Renaissance", Rinascimento, and the protagonists of the project definitely hope to have an impact. Reenash aims to serve not only as a platform for the self-expression of its original founders, but also to provide space for other "creatives" who wish to join in its efforts. It is an attractive, visually appealing site, which features poetry, articles, scripts, sketches, paintings, photography, short stories, and musings and explanations of various kinds. For the artistically inclined, the art work of Bianca Bellissima is not to miss; and it should be noted that these sketches and paintings are only the tip of the iceberg of her talent. (Her art includes, but is not limited to, spiritual, psychic, psychological, satirical, and abstractly-expressed themes, portraits, and works-on-commission.) In addition to its aims of developing and affecting an audience, and expanding participation in the project, Reenash is open to receiving support and feedback. In other words, it would like to hear from you! http://www.reenash.co.uk
